You are about to take the final step in achieving the CRME - Certified Revenue Management Executive; the CHDM – Certified Hospitality Digital Marketer; the CHSL - Certified Hotel Sales Leader; the CRMA - Certified Revenue Management Analyst; or the CHBA - Certified in Hospitality Business Acumen!
Your qualifications have been approved, you have paid the HSMAI examination fee, and you have studied to prepare for the exam. You have been sent a Username and Password to enter your exam. If your Username and/or Password do not work or if you have any questions, please email kathy.tindell@hsmai.org or call Kathy Tindell, HSMAI Director of Education & Certification, at 703-506-2010 (between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Eastern time, Monday - Friday).
The exam will be open for 60 minutes. There are 50 questions randomly chosen for each exam from a large bank of questions. You may skip a question and come back to it, but all questions must be answered within the 60-minute window.
If you exit the exam before submitting your answers for grading, you will not be able to re-access the exam.
You must score at least 80% to pass for certification if you are taking the CHBA exam; you must score at least 70% if you are taking the CRME, CHDM, CHSL, or CRMA exams.
After you have completed the exam, it will be automatically scored and you will be automatically notified immediately whether you have passed or failed. If you have passed, usually by the next business day you will receive an email from Kathy Tindell along with your e-certificate showing that you now hold the certification. If you do not pass, contact Kathy Tindell for instructions for paying the $45 for a re-exam.
